GodlyHubBot

GodlyHubBot is the link preview fetcher operated by Godly Hub, a faith-based social platform.

What it does

When a Godly Hub user includes a link in a post, our servers fetch that single URL once to read its Open Graph and HTML meta tags (title, description, image). We use them to show a preview card that links back to the original page.

What it does not do

• It does not crawl sites or follow links on the pages it fetches.
• It only fetches URLs that users have shared.
• It does not use fetched content to train AI models.

Request volume

Each URL is fetched once and the preview is cached for 30 days, so sharing the same link again does not trigger another request. Each fetch downloads at most 512 KB and follows at most 3 redirects.

How to identify it

Requests use the User-Agent GodlyHubBot/1.0 (+https://bot.godlyhub.com/bot) and are signed with Web Bot Auth (HTTP Message Signatures). Our public key directory is published at https://bot.godlyhub.com/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory.
